Welcome to Atelier Circulaire Journal!

— A newsletter where I share what's happening inside and outside my studio in Versailles, France.

I'm Lizeth. I work with textiles, sewing them, manipulating them, embroidering them, dyeing them. I worked as an architect for about a decade, but one day I felt the need to pursue my interest in creating art. I am happy to have done it. I haven't stopped since then. In 2018 I opened my Etsy Shop where I sell my Handbag Sewing Patterns.

The bit about me

I love books and coffee. I love listening to podcasts while I sew. I love my alone time and wasting time at art exhibitions. I am a cinephile and I secretly dream of being a film director, I would love to make a film. I am also a mother of two children, a home repairer, eager to learn, I am terrified of flying but I still travel and I love to cook. In the midst of everything, I am making my life day by day.

I want to use this space to share my ongoing projects, what I'm learning, the challenges I face, the inspirations that drive me. I will also share my experience making sewing patterns from other artists that I admire, always trying to give them a personal twist.
